Fireworks Display Services
All throughout the year, fireworks displays erupt over Alberta to celebrate various events, parties, weddings, and of course Canada Day and New Years Eve. Magnum Fireworks is often on site and in the background working diligently to ensure an exhilarating and safe conclusion to your event.
We have over a decade of experience producing fireworks displays, and have built our reputation on providing epic fireworks displays that are underpinned by professionalism, safety, and competence; traits that are exhibited by all members of our team through the entire process from first contact to the final shell in your grand finale.
Indoor Pyrotechnics
We offer close proximity pyrotechnic services for live events and performances, indoors and out in Calgary, Edmonton, and most communities throughout Alberta. Seen at many sporting events, concerts, theme parks, and even weddings—this is the option we suggest for an up-close experience like none other.

SFX Services & Rentals
With a wide inventory of special effects equipment and consumables, we offer fully produced sfx services for live events and the film industry, as well as provide sfx equipment for hire.
Our SFX services are primarily available in Calgary, Edmonton and Red Deer - however we regularly ship rental equipment and supplies throughout Canada to our clients producing live events coast to coast.
Cold Spark Machines
Pyrotechnic simulators emit a fountain of sparks just like pyrotechnic devices with no fire risk and no smoke or odor and can be used indoors our out!
CO2 (Cryo-jets)
Cryo-jets emit a huge column of C02 that resembles fog and instantly dissipates. Great for instantly grabbing and directing the attention of your audience.

Magnum Fireworks has opportunities to work on fireworks displays year round, primarily in Alberta with some shows taking place in BC and/or Saskatchewan. If you are a display fireworks certificate holder (assistant or supervisor), please apply now to be added to our list to be considered for crew positions on displays year round!
Get certified
In order to work on a fireworks display and handle commercial fireworks, you must hold at leas “Display Fireworks Assistant” certificate from the Explosives regulatory division of Natural Resources Canada. This can be obtained by taking the “Display Fireworks Safety & Legal Awareness Course” as offered by Magnum Fireworks. Click the button below for more information.
